SAFETY NOTE: Have a spotter before you attempt this move. Also, use one hand behind you on the pole to slowly support some of your body weight as you lean back. It is very important to keep the front of the extended leg pressed firmly against the outside ankle of the bent leg. Do NOT let this contact become disengaged.
