Creativity & Combos - Dialogues In The Dark
This curriculum will encourage students to use dance to dig deep into their emotional reservoirs. This class will center on blindfolded free-dances, done in a circuit, with each pole representing a different person with whom the student will have a dialogue. Begin class by telling students that being blindfolded while dancing is a great way to find freedom of movement. Students can’t watch and judge themselves, nor compare themselves to other students, nor be distracted by other visual stimuli in the studio.
