SAFETY NOTE: As with all moves on this site, be sure to have a qualified spotter supervising your movements at all times.  It is critical for a drop of this type, that you first slide slowly and in a controlled fashion with hands fully on the hoop to find your secure stopping grip and practice this over and over with supervision until the grip is automatic and secure.
