Amy Guion has been a competitive pole dancer for five years, medaling in such competitions as USPDF Amateur Nationals in 2011 and California Pole Dance Championships in 2011. She has traveled extensively in the United States and in Mexico teaching her signature workshops and regularly teaches classes in Los Angeles at BeSpun, home to many elite-level pole performers. Amy also has her own line of flexibility training videos through her fitness company, Bendability Fitness. Her background in physical therapy and her experience managing BeSpun make her a valuable contributor to pole dancing as a competitive sport, business, and legitimate fitness activity. Most recently, Amy founded Pole Sport Organization with her partner, Bayleigh Pettigrew, and began hosting open competitions around the United States to promote an inclusive performance environment for pole dancers to perform on a professional stage system and to receive feedback.
